CompTIA Project+ PK0-004 is CompTIA’s newest version of entry-level project management certification. Project+ is recognized worldwide as a sign employees understand the principles of project management and are ready to apply those skills to lead project teams to success.
According to CompTIA, project management ranks 3rd in desired IT specialty skills, and earning a Project+ certification can put applicants in line for more and higher-paying opportunities to lead projects.
Exam Structure
The CompTIA Project+ exam consists of 100 questions to be answered over 90 minutes time schedule. The passing score is 710.
Renewal Process
The CompTIA Project+ certification is valid for life and does not require renewal.
Prerequisites
While there are no formal prerequisites, CompTIA recommends a candidate have at least one year experience managing, directing or participating in small- to medium-scale projects.
